Medical Research Scotland 'Meet the Researchers' (March 2016)

PhD student Matthew Simmonte was part of a Medical Research Scotland event in Aberdeen and Dundee which gave high school students the opportunity to meet young researchers working in the medical sciences and to learn about their personal experience in higher education. Additionally, there were talks from academic and industrial representatives to demonstrate the breadth of careers that a science degree can offer. Princess Anne HRH, the patron of MRS, was also in attendance at the Dundee event to learn of some of the latest innovations in Scottish medical research.
